Ultimately Organized is the brain-child of Shannan O'Brien, wife and mother of two active boys who has lived in Southwest Florida for more than 20 years. A former televsion news producer, Shannan's experience in the fast-paced world of broadcasting honed her paper management, scheduling, and problem-solving skills. She spent the past six years as an advertising and marketing specialist, which involves organzing special events, and implementing and coordinating corporate and customer marketing communications.
The desire to pursue a career as a Professional Organizer came after years of compliments from co-workers, friends and family on her ability to organize. Couple that with her passion for home-improvement, design, and organizational shows on HGTV. "I started doing research on what it takes to be a professional organizer," she says, "and I realized that I already had all the skills I needed to make a living doing what I love."
Shannan is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), a group of just over 4,000 Professional Organizers dedicated to helping businesses and individuals bring order and efficiency to their lives. She is also involved with the Professional Organizers Association of Southwest Florida (POASWFL) as the Vice President of Public Relations www.swflorganizers.com.
